Will charging for an answer cheapen my premium coaching brand?
Not if you price it as access to you. You set the number, and $50 to $200 for a considered answer reads as premium paid access. What cheapens a premium brand is giving the same advice away in DMs all day.
The signal a price sends
A free DM reply says your time is free. A priced answer says it is not. The thing being sold is one answer to one question, not the engagement, and nobody confuses a paid consultation with a retainer.
It protects the programme
People who would never have bought the programme pay for an answer instead of taking an hour for nothing, and people who would buy it get a paid taste of working with you first.
