I am not receiving notifications about new questions, what should I check?
Check your spam and promotions folders first, since the notification is an email, then check that your phone number is verified and SMS notifications are on.
The usual cause
The email was delivered to junk. Searching your mail for the sender and marking it as not spam fixes it for every future question.
Add the text alert as a backstop
A verified phone with SMS notifications on means a question cannot sit unseen for its whole 7 day window because one email went astray.
