Why is there a hold on the card?
Asking a question authorizes the amount on your card without taking it. That hold is what guarantees the coach gets paid when they answer, and it is released if they do not.
It can look like a charge
Many banks show an authorization as a pending charge. It is not a payment, and it disappears if the question expires.
